One of Dane’s mission companions is back home now. He came to see us because he promised Dane that he would.
He also swore an oath…
to come hug the babies in Dane’s place—especially the one my boy hasn’t met yet.
He is a very sweet boy.
We all completely loved him—at first sight.
Ok, ok.
Not all.
Oh he looks like an absolute gem! If you can’t see your own boy then the mission companion is DEFINITELY the next best thing. I bet you were loving every minute of having him there. Did you chat his ear off and want to know every detail of Dane’s life on his mission?
How sweet! It is nice to get to know your son through another person that knew him in a different setting.
What a nice visit!! π I remember when I was little and some of my brothers’ and sister’s mission companions would come by the house. π
Ok, Launi – Question!? I have a pregnant friend who has that horrible belly rash that, I believe it was April, had. I’ve given her some acid water that I had (hopefully it doesn’t de-acidify itself over time, ’cause it’s not that fresh…) but I was wondering how often she should apply it? And how long did it take for April’s to go away? She’s just about to go berserk, so I thought I’d at least have her try it.
Any other advice/suggestions??
Ohhh… Baby Chomp was/is going through a stranger danger stage I guess?!? π I keep trying to explain that we’ll do our very best to keep the real scary people away. We’re working on it! π
I am so jealous of you. Ever since my 21 year old son was a baby, I have wanted to have a return missionary come home to a baby brother or sister. The missionaries have such a light in their eyes and they love the little children so….
Alas, my youngest will be 12 when his big brother comes home.
Wellll…our sweet babies are actually my grandchildren. We just talk as though we all belong to each other–because it feels that way. My own real baby is “the bald kid” who is actually turning 18 on Monday. So see? Our lives are quite similar after all.
