I forgot to mention that I did pick up a little treasure on our antique spree the other day. It would, I’m sure, be considered a silly thing to most people. But when the lady unlocked the glass case and let me hold the darn thing…my hands were shaking. See, I’d been looking for this pretty cup for about 15 years, and never thought for a second that I’d ever touch one–never mind take one home.
Now I suppose there aren’t many people on this planet that know what this even is. But I’ll give you a tiny hint…
Any guesses my friends?
Just curious.

Well after a quick google search it appears as though you are the author of the book in the background but I couldn’t find anything else. Now, this was done on my phone, one-handed, while holding a sick infant, mind you. So I didn’t put in a whole lot of time. Very interested to see where this story goes, though! π
I probably should know, but it is too early and I am not thinking right now. Hopefully someone figures it out. π
Wow, Wow Wow, Wow WOW! How exciting for you – it is so beautiful and such a treasure. I do remember it from the book but honestly wouldn’t have thought there were any left to hold and cherish. Can we come touch such a special piece of Utah history? So happy you are able to be the proud owner of one.
What a find! π Love little stories like that.
I know! I know! Pick me, pick me!
I know too… but I’ll let someone else figure it out without me spoiling the fun! π
I know how happy you are that you found that little treasure and it makes me happy for you. π YAAAY!!!
Aunt Laurie said on the phone that she had the same reaction as I did when she read this. Too funny π
Great minds think alike. :}
