If you know me even a teeny tiny bit, then it’s quite likely that you are completely aware that I’m positively in love with…
Thor. I know, I know. Chris Hemsworth is too young for me…I’m too old for him…bla-bla-bla. But you see, I’m not in love with Chris Hemsworth. I’m in love with Thor. Not entirely sure what the difference is, but I’m confident there is one. Thor is a god after all and is very strong and has long hair and gets to wear that smashing red…um…outfit. Anyway, it works for me.
So well in fact that I’m giving away a Thor character doll just like the one I got for Mother’s Day. Yes, my kids indulge my eccentricities quite nicely, wouldn’t you say? It’s perfect. I have one and if you win–you’ll have one too. Imagine the possibilities!!
But that’s not all. A few days ago, I was all alone and pulled out Seabiscuit–which happens to be my favorite movie of all time…that doesn’t have Thor in it.
SO–I’m giving a copy of it away too.
Thor AND Seabiscuit–what and incredible combo!

I’ll choose a winner on Monday…at 10am sharp.
Are you shivering? Are you quivering? Are you speechless with joy?
Heh, heh.
Obviously I need some enlightenment or culture or something because I’ve never seen either of them. Finals tonight and then absolutely nothing to do (yea right he he he) but a movie night would be a great reward for getting through summer semester in one piece – don’t you think!
I love THOR too! Not sure what it is? His beautiful blue eyes? His huge muscles? Plus I’ve never seen Sea Biscuit – imagine that? Happy Thursday to you my friend!
Seabiscuit is a favorite because it reminds me of my daughter: she loves horses and she loves to run!
Thor, well, I’m with you there. He’s such a handsome guy, who can resist?
Cute little give aways! 🙂 Seabiscuit is a great movie. 😆
I LOVE Thor! He is just fabulous, and I don’t think that I have ever seen Seabiscuit, although I’ve heard it’s amazing.
@Lynnette, Well mom, pretty sure they are both rated PG-13 and it’s hard to say if either of them are informational enough for you to justify watching them. As for me, they are both great movies. And congrats on getting through the semester.
Well, Don, old buddy–sounds like you guys need to get your mom and dad a ClearPlay for Christmas…or Father’s Day. Then they could be up on all the latest shows–after they’re tidied up a bit. Besides–SeaBiscuit is filled with historical newsreels so your mom would love it. :}
John and I just watched Thor for the 3rd time last night. I have never seen Seabiscuit.
History – did someone say the magic word. I bet I would love it and I’m okay with PG-13 if it’s true to the story and time period.
