  1. Please try to keep the eye rolling to a minimum, but I haven’t seen either of these. I did see snippets of August Rush when I was in and out of a room it was playing in and P&P has been seen a few times in my home but I’ve always had something else going on (my girls absolutely love it). So my hat is in the ring, and if I’m the lucky winner everyone else can do the coming and going (aka fixing dinner, running kids to practices, changing the wash, etc etc) and I will sit with my feet up and become enlightened!

  2. I love August Rush-one of my all time favorites! I don’t think I’ve seen the other.

  3. My favorite movie that I could watch over and over again is…Hope Floats. It got me through a rough time and I still love it!

  4. I really enjoy both of these movies. One of them I wrote a paper on and August Rush, I have on DVR, recorded half way through, but I refuse to get rid of it until I own it. I get chills every time the music plays and I cry like a baby though both….ask my mom and dad, that is a hard thing to do. I never cry. I just look around for anyone else who is crying and it makes me smile.

  5. I have never seen either of these movies. I know, LAME! I want to see them though!

  6. I love, love, love both of these movies. But Pride & Prejudice is my favorite of the two. Great giveaway.

  7. So it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I figured why not start back up again on the give-a-way page! πŸ™‚

I’m as embarassed to admit (as others have) that I haven’t seen either of these either. All the more fun – to receive two new movies to watch!

I really need to come to some of your hypnobirthing classes for a refresher – 9 weeks left!!

  8. Well I have never heard of August Rush, and have heard of but never seen Pride and Prejudice but want to see it. So finally after months we got the dvd player hooked up after not having one for a year and a half. So this Mommy is ready for some time for me, to just sit quietly and watch a big girl movie. πŸ™‚ Now I hope that I can stay awake to watch the dvd’s that I have collected lately I will be all set.

Happy Mother’s Day to you, I hope that you have a blessed weekend.

  9. Oh–there’s no eye-rolling going on here…it’s more like sobbing into my hands.
:] Just teasing. You would–I believe–love both of these movies because we are kindred spirits and you know how you LOVE every movie that I love.

    ha ha ha ha

  10. Oh, I bawl at everything, including Dumbo. So I’m a hopeless crying movie fool. Can’t seem to help it.

  11. Come on baby–come to my class. I’d love to see you. Check the HB tab and note the class location for the next few weeks.

    Do come.

    :]

  12. It is sad to say, but I also have not seen these. I will have to get them from the library, unless I am lucky enough to win!

  13. By the way….Just wanted to tell you that a girl in my neighborhood came up to me and asked me how I knew you. I told her and she said that you were her hypnobirthing coach. I think you are so amazing. Her name is Minola Jacobsen. Such a cute girl.

  14. K, I was going to say “Pick me, pick me”, but after reading that poor Kristin has never seen either of these movies, she has to be a winner!!! EVERYONE must see Pride and Prejudice — that’s my all time fave!!

  15. love these movies but don’t own either…hope I win! Happy mother’s day Launi!

  16. Well Dear Launi, You and I both know how difficult Mother’s Day can be. Having a mother who is your best friend is wonderful while she’s here but as life goes on (and so does she) it stinks. Thank goodness for the plan. As a mother our lives can be so very full of joy but heartaches too. Yes I guess we all have those times. We just have to savor all the wonderful memories and focus on good times! What better way to add to the good times by watching a great movie. I must admit I have never seen either one. Oh well, the last movie Ron and I saw at the theater is “On Golden Pond” WOW that says it all doesn’t it!!! πŸ™‚

  17. Both good movies. Sometimes I try to play the guitar like the kid in August Rush (was his name August? I can’t remember) but I never really succeed. Oh well. Also, sometimes I try to meet my own version of Mr. Darcy, but I haven’t succeeded in that one either. πŸ˜‰
