This is the last week of our Twilight Opening Night Movie Ticket Contest. The next contest we do will have a shorter name…I swear. Anyway, we’ve had a great response to our soup, stew, and chili recipe entries, but now–we’re going to make it even easier for you to enter to win a night out with the vegetarian vampires. You can still send in a recipe, or link to this site to receive an entry, but here’s another–simple way.
This week, all you have to do is comment to this post and your name will be entered in the contest. Now, I ask you–how much easier can it get?
Remember–this is the last week to enter and the winner will be chosen this Friday, November 14, at 5:00pm. So comment, link or send in soup…recipe, not soup…and you could WIN!!
Do it, do it, do it…
See you there!
You friends are just so darn nice giving away a couple of movie tickets. Does buttering you up help at all? Hee hee:)
I would be happy to send in soup too if you’d like. I made some pretty lucious homemade tomato soup. Just tell me where to take it.
Welllll…now as much as I’d love the Tomato soup to just appear on my doorstep…yum.
Send me the recipe–you’ll be entered again–and then for the comments…and your link. You’ve got a great chance. Send me more stuff–it will help.
Now I’m hungry for tomato soup…rats!
I’m commenting – and hopefully sometime today I’ll bring my recipe box over to my laptop so I can e-mail you some yummy soup recipes. I’ve got to get my act together. Only 5 more days to enter. EEk!
Do Jodi—DO IT!! We got the filter…so you know.
I would LOVE to win the tickets!! PICK ME PICK ME ;0). Thanks for the website Launi! I love your blog!!

My sister is a crazy fanatic she will be very jealous if i win tickets…
Ahh… so close yet so far away
Oh, good picture though. I haven’t see that one before.
I wish I lived up there to go to the movie with you guys. Can I enter and give the tickets to my mom and sis?
Of course you can!!
I don’t suppose those tickets would work for another night? I’d love to see the movie, but don’t want to go through all the mayhem I’m sure will accompany opening night.
Hey, loved the 72 hr. emergency tips! That’s good stuff to know. I’ve got some adjustments to make, and some rotating to do! Looking forward to Thursday!
I just had to say – great pic!! I’m so excited I can hardly stand it!!!! I just love you guys 🙂
This is not only a great soup recipe, but one that qualifies as food storage too. I always have at least 5 sets of the ingredients. Works great for last min crazy day dinners or something to take into someone at the last min as well.
Cheeseburger Soup
1 lb hamburger (I store canned hamburger for emergencies)
1/2 c chopped onion
1 pkg Hamburger Helper Cheeseburger Macaroni
5 c water
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 16 oz can whole or diced tomatoes
1 16 oz can Veg All vegetables
2 TBL parsley
Cook and drain hamburger with onions. Stir in sauce mix from Hamburger Helper, water, basil, salt, pepper, and tomatoes with liquid. Heat to boiling, stir and reduce heat. Add macaroni from Hamburger Helper and Veg All. Cover and cook til macaroni is tender 1- 15 min. Stir in parsley.
