For Goodness Sake

with investigator

Every noble impulse, every unselfish expression of love, every brave suffering for the right; every surrender of self to something higher than self; every loyalty to an ideal; every unselfish devotion to principle; every helpfulness to humanity; every act of self-control; every fine courage of the soul, undefeated by pretense or policy, but by being, doing, and living of good for the very good’s sake–that is spirituality.

  1. Yeah, I found it in an ancient “Pursuit of Excellence” booklet. I remember when David O McKay died–I was a little girl, about 11. It was a Sunday and I sat in the church foyer and cried because I thought the Church was…over…like for good.
    Funny.
    :]

  2. Very nice! It’s from “Pursuit of Excellence” you say?!? I need to read through that! I’ve never really looked at it all the way through and now is the perfect time of year for starting something like that! I want to do the new Personal Progress program too!

  3. Yes, let’s do it together. I love this program because it feels so good to be working on a ton of things at one time.
