Christmas Lights

Isn’t it funny how you can put up all the Christmas decorations that have been stored away for months–but that magical, Christmas-y feeling doesn’t really sink deep into your bones until the lights go on?Β  That’s when it really hits me that it’s Christmas time again. We’re still in the middle of the decorating at our place–but I’m excited to see the lights go up.

  1. Yes! They are on our tree and our banister with garland. Hopefully when the snow melts on our roof we can get our house lights up. If that doesn’t happen then we won’t have outside lights this year.

  2. I love seeing Christmas lights too! I think that warm glow sets the tone for a magical holiday season! πŸ™‚ We’re in the same boat as Kathy… nothing up outside yet, but we’ll see what happens. We always put them on our tree and sometimes even in the windows!

I LOVE that video! SOOO awesome what people can do these days!

  3. so disco, I am amazed at what people can do! I agree, once the lights go on, then it is really feels like Christmas! of course snow helps too!!

  4. WOW! Those people have WAY too much time on their hands. Pretty cool what they’ve done though.

We also have a tiny string of lights up at our house. It’s pretty festive in here. I think there’s a pic on our blog if you want to be impressed. πŸ˜‰

  5. If my guys would just stay home for 10 minutes at a time…maybe I could boss them around for a while. Oooooh…I might have to….do…them….myself.
    Yikes. The very idea….

  6. It’s thebeccasthoughts.blogspot.com
I know Lyndi reads it occasionally. It’s not quite as fantastic as your blog, but you might get a laugh out of it.

  7. Launi, it looks beautiful. I still haven’t got my tree out yet, and am starting to feel guilty (and overworked). I love the way this looks.
