Too Busy…

I’m so sorry but I can’t write a post today. You see, I’m waaay too busy…

playing with them…

baking these…

watering that…

making this…

watching them…

washing those…

feeding him…

searching through these…

vacuuming them…

picking those…

photographing that…

tidying these…

and reading this.

All in an effort to…

relax and be calm…

while waiting patiently…

for him.

Oh do wish me luck…

  1. You can check a couple of those things off the list… we’ll all help. Unless of course you were TRYING to fill the whole day! 😉 That sounds like a perfect idea too!!! *:D*

    HERE HE COMES!!! *******:D*******

  2. Hooray! It is going to be great! I’ll try and stop by sometime this weekend. Just let me know when I won’t be imposing. 😉

  3. Well, if it was four in the morning and all the lights were out at our house–we would still open the door for you.
Imposing? You can come whenever you’d like…
    You’re family. Sheesh…thought you knew.

  4. One of the best things about you my friend is your ability to find joy and purpose and endless projects in the journey. And if you do get every single one of those things done your deserve a medal of some sort! Makes me sort of wish I had a reason to dig into a couple of my “I really need to get this done” projects. Maybe I’ll need to fabricate a grand event and tackle the reorganizing of the storage room – aren’t we a funny breed!

  5. What time does his plane get in? At least you have lots of things to keep you busy until then. I know how excited you are to see your Daney boy. And I can imagine that he is every bit as excited to see you and all of his wonderful family. He is a lucky boy, I mean, man. It’s hard to think of our sons as men. Even though they have become men, they will always be our little boys. Enjoy your reunion!!!

  6. See–the projects are the things I love. They feel so valuable and in the moment. Tell yourself that you get to go do something that you LOVE the second the reorganizing of the storage room is completed. That ought to do it. Plan the “something” in great detail so that you anticipate it like you would chocolate. You’ll be amazed at how the storage room will just get done.

  7. His plane comes in at 8:47pm. He is sitting in the Atlanta airport with his sister right this minute. She has been in London for two weeks and coordinated her return to meet him in Georgia–as a surprise and fly home with him. Isn’t that so fun?
Yeah…it will be tough if I have to see him as a….man. He’s just my boy and hope that always ok with him.
