The Fairy House

The girls and I took a little excursion to the Beehive Bazaar the other day. I should have taken about a thousand pictures, but I was completely enthralled by one little booth with all kinds of fairy type stuff…so I didn’t.

Well that, and I forgot my camera.

Of course a little brown tree stump fairy house with a purple roof sort of jumped out…

and landed in my arms.

And I have big plans for this little thing. After I clean up the strawberry patch and set the little cottage smack dab in the middle of it all, I’m going to scatter little bits of colored yarn scraps all around.

I’ve heard that little birds love yarn scraps and will pluck them out and carry them away to pretty-up their nests. Clever little things.

But I’ve also heard that bright colors…

attract…

fairies.

Hee hee…

OoooOooh…look. It’s working.

Baaa!

  1. OooOooh… you’re good! It IS working! 😉 Now you just have to figure out a way to keep the Nymphs and Water Sprites away… I hear they can be a little rough on Fairy Houses. :/

  2. Awww heck, we’re sturdy mountain folk. Takes more than that to rattle our wings. Heh, heh, 😉
