We are so excited to announce our TWILIGHT Movie Contest. Read all about it and enter, enter, enter! Tell all your friends. The lucky winner will be our guest at the opening night showing in Jordan Commons, Sandy, Utah.
Is this where I enter? Have you ever had the ET Pumpkin dinner? You draw a big ol face on a pumpkin and then put all the ingredients inside and cook him up. Here is the recipe. And BTW I am making it for dinner tonight. It’s a new tradition I started last year. Never too late to start traditions right?
ET PUMPKIN DINNER
1 medium pumpkin-carve lid and clean out insides
3/4 C chopped onion
1 Tbls. Butter
Chopped Green Peppers
Fry the above three ingredients together until soft-add 1 and 1/2 pounds ground beef and cook together until done, drain the grease and add:
1 1/2 C cooked rice
2 Tbls. soy sauce
1 Tbls. brown sugar
4 oz. can mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken
Cook all together for 5 minutes and pour into the cleaned out pumpkin. Put the lid on and put on a baking sheet lined with foil.
Bake 350 for 1 hour or if you want the pumpkin soft turn the heat down to 325 and cook longer.
(optional-add more rice for a bigger crowd)
oh, my name is Susette, do I have to really put my phone number here? I found your website through Lyndilou.
Thanks man—you officially have entered the contest. You can enter twice a day if you like to increase your chances of winning! No, you don’t have to put your phone number here. I’ll scoot all your stuff to my email–Launi@graciousrain.com
This recipe looks fabulous! I have a pumpkin who’s days are numbered now…
How ingenious! I would have never come up with plastic bags to use on my hands to make popcorn balls. I like the extra 20 minutes it takes to get all the sticky off my hands and from under my fingernails – not. Thanks for sharing.
