My beautiful Maple tree is finally the stunning scarlet color that I always wait for in October. I just sit and stare at it sometimes.
Then, just as I’m reveling in all that gorgeous color…
November arrives and one by one the leaves start to…
fall.
Everything about Autumn is breathtaking to me–the crisp air, the sweet smelling rain, the overcast sky–as well as the falling leaves.
Luckily, we chose a tree whose leaves are a gorgeous on the branches…
as they are on the ground.
I did a post last year about my cute little maple tree…
that started turning orange at the beginning of summer.
I did a little research and found out that it’s likely missing iron from our funny dry Utah soil–that it needs desperately…
it also needs a much bigger mulch ring around it at the base so that it isn’t fighting the lawn to get the water it needs.
Hang on sweet little tree. we’ll get you all the help you need–I promise.
