I couldn’t begin to tell you why I love this parade the way that I do. The balloons, the bands, the singers. I don’t know what it is. I have just loved it my whole life. I used to get up early all by myself while my family slept and watch it and it still thrills me like it did back then.

Tiny Turkeys
Don’t you just LOVE my tiny turkeys?!! EEEEeeeee! I adore them!
My favorite part is their incredibly colorful tail.
This pattern is actually a chicken, but with just a few tweaks–POOF!– it has now become a turkey!
Be really, really nice to me and you might just get one of these cuties for Thanksgiving.

Thankful Music
This guy, right here– my cute boy Dane, is taking classes in using technical resourses to make music–and is he ever having fun doing it! He started in October so he set up a full line of Halloween tunes. Some are silly kid songs and some are surprisingly spooky!
His YouTube page is called Light Shine University.
Then he moved on to a whole new, quite forgotten genre and made a long list of Thanksgiving music. I’ve been listening to it for weeks and I have to say, it’s lovely to have tons of gratitude-type lyrics in my head–especially this time of year.
He has written one from a true story of a sweet conversation with his little daughter that melts my heart.
And this one…is about my dad and it makes me sob. It’s beautiful.
