That’s My Baby!

See this cute guy? Well, he did something pretty dang marvelous this week.

In fact, he did the very thing that enticed him to move to Arkansas in the first place.

He did this thing.

Oh, my GOODNESS!! Not only is he cuter than heck, he is also one smart cookie!!

And see that teeny smidge of a teal tassel there on the right side? He is the only person in the whole class that even got one of those! I don’t actually get what it’s for, but if that were me, I’d be wearing that sucker on my forehead so no one could possibly miss it! Haha.

So not only is he cute AND smart but he’s also not even being a show off about it. I could probably learn a lot from this guy.  Ok, I guess I COULD learn a lot from this guy. Duh.

Congratulations my sweet son on earning your Master’s Degree. I love you and admire you and think you’re amazing and I am SO, SO proud of you and all your hard work!

But I’m still not calling you Master.

Miss you boy. Now come home.

Hey, a mom can try.

Easter Egg Saturday

After the last Saturday session of General Conference we met at Lyndi & Nate’s for the Crepe Festival portion of the day.

As ALWAYS—YUM!!

Next came hiding allllll those eggs.

Since there are officially more “hiders” than “finders” this year–we had an enormous amount of tricky spots to hide an egg! I’m afraid some of these will turn up in a few years!!

Now….

the hunting!!

Next the really fun part…

the BUNNY Store!!

Instead of filling all those eggs with candy, most have gold coins in them or they are empty. But never fear–the kids get to trade the eggs and coins for all the candy and other prizes and loot. It’s amazing!!

Lastly, the evening ends with….

the teenager’s Glow in the Dark egg hunt!! These guys have such a fun time searching for eggs in the dark. Then they come in like the youngsters and trade their finds for candy and gift cards.

It’s a ton of work, I can tell but oh, my goodness–everyone has soooo much FUN!! Whether you are hunting or hiding or just watching–it’s an awesome ending tp a beautiful day.

Family. Food. Incredible fun.

Thanks Lyndi, Nate and everyone.

You guys are amazing and we love you so much!!

A Little More Chosen

I’m sure you already know that a few of my kids were extras…

in the incredible series, The Chosen.

I think I may have shouted, “there he is!!” in the theater during THIS scene.

I didn’t mean to.

It just happened.

They had a wonderful time…

dressing up…

and immersing themselves in the biblical culture along with the TV world.

They met some of the actual actors…Mary the sister of Lazerus…various apostles….

and Shmuel–yes, “our Shmuel.” Haha.

If you’ve seen the show, you’ll probably get my joke. If not, just trust me…

it was hilarious. Heh, heh.

They even met the boss-man, The Chosen creator himself, Dallas Jenkins. That was a sweet moment. What a cool guy.

So, when one of my favorite Podcasts–Follow Him,  had Dallas Jenkins on as a guest speaker for Easter…

Duuuuude. I struggled to keep my composure and not act like a ridiculous geeked out fan girl. It was tough. I had to keep rewinding it when I missed something important…because I was giggling. I couldn’t help it.

I may have watched the episode 6,348 times.

But I wasn’t exactly counting.

Hee hee.

A Little Jesus In My Life

While visiting my daughter’s family one night, I looked up to see a teeny, tiny drone flying towards me…

with a very interesting….ummmm….

passenger riding along.

Not exactly how I pictured the Second Coming…

but ok.

I’m flexable.

Hahahahaha.

The Lindon LDS Temple

The Lindon LDS Temple is such a beautiful place.

This is one of my sweet daughters.

She and her sister volunteered to help at the Lindon Temple Open House last month.

One had a shift n the parking lot and the other was inside guiding tours.

But honestly, I don’t think it wouldn’t matter where they put these cute kids in this lovely place.

They’re just happy to help.
