Pretty Quiet These Days

People keep asking…

“How’s it going, without Rhen there?”

I always say, “Oh, it’s fine. I’m good.

I just talk to the cats.”

That is…if they’d wake up.

Sheesh.

Strawberry Days Esports Competition

Oh, yeaaaah–I’m pretty proud of these kids! They all entered the ESports competition for Strawberry Days in Pleasant Grove. Such brave souls. I was way too chicken–but I did come to watch.

Jillian, Lyndi and Rhen all entered the Dr. Mario tournament.

They played through the rounds and got pretty far.  At one point there were people standing outside the school windows so that they could see the screens!

Some guy came over by me and started complaining about all the people that had beat him. I sheepishly said, “Yeah, that’s my daughter,” and “That’s my other daughter,” and “That’s my son.” All he said in return was, “Wow.”

I swear, I tried to keep a straight face. We will not discuss how well it worked.

Our boy entered the Smash Bros tournament because it’s his particular specialty. Watch out everybody else!

Rhen and this fellow got to the finals…

but of course…

there can be only one winner!!

No surprise to me who that was!

Congratulations Rhen!!!

But wait!! Right after that–we had another winner in the Smash Bros category!! Congratulations boy!!

I taught them everything they know.

BAHAHAHAhahahahaha!

What a fun time.

Hanging out with winners!

Heh, heh.

I still love these sweet babies!

I made peanut butter cookies for the guys in my life–who are all so good and kind to their silly Mother-in-law. I love them all so much.

And I mean it.

(Anybody want a peanut?)
