Copy Cats Custom Kitties

A friend of a friend saw a few of the kitties that I made for the Farmer’s Market and asked if I could make one that looked like…

their very own kitty.

You know me…

I said, “Ummmm…yeah.”

And so…

down to the spots on the legs…

I did my best.

They were happy.

I was happy.

Not sure what the kitty thinks.

Oh, well.

Heh, heh.

Cosmo

Oooooh, our BYU team is doing GREAT this year!!!

So great, in fact, that I was totally inspired to make this cute little fellow right here.

In case you aren’t from around these parts…

and don’t recognize…

this dude…

his name is COSMO!!

Go BYU!!

Go to my Gracious Rain Shop on Esty to find this and other awesome stuff!

Appa!!

My sweet granddaughter had a huge, stuffed Appa (From Avatar- The Last Airbender) on her birthday list. It was like a large pillow of the famous Flying Bison.

I could have gotten it for her, in fact, I almost did.

But then…

I found a pattern and I just couldn’t help myself.

I simply HAD to make it.

I honestly wasn’t sure if it would be a big mess…

or turn out…

incredible.

What I do know, is that it was one of the most fun projects that I’ve made in a long, long time.

Another thing I found out was that when you work really hard on something, for days and days, you run the risk of getting incredibly attatched to it.

Yeah, this one was hard to wrap up and put in the box.

Luckily, I love this girlie even more than furry little Appa.

Annnnnnd…

she ADORED him!!

That always helps.

Happy Birthday Kiddo. I love you.

Our sweet Jessica is a lovely member of the AF Symphony and we LOVE going to her concerts!

So it goes without saying that when they had one totally dedicated to video game music–

we said, “Ohhhh HECK yeah!”

Apparently, a boatload of people felt the same.

Before it started the place was

packed!!

They even had sweet little programs that looked like controllers…

a slightly eerie choir…

and a video music trivia game where people won all kinds of retro prizes–

like Lemonheads, and Laffy Taffy and Chick-o-Sticks!

If I’d have only known…I’d have studied ahead.

Every bit of this fun music made a couple of people…

incredibly happy.

Good job Jessica! You’re amazing and we love you.
