“With our Father’s help, all of us can choose to feel more gratitude. We can ask Him to help us see our blessings more clearly, whatever our circumstances. Giving thanks in prayer can allow us to see the magnitude of these blessings and all of our other blessings and so receive the gift of a more grateful heart.”

Cream Cheese Lemon Bars
I know, I know. It’s not spring yet and I could possibly have curbed my craving for something luscious and lemony until the flowers were blooming, like a good girl. Perhaps that would have been more seasonally appropriate. But then I thought…
seasonally appropriate? What does that even mean? And then a better question would be–and do I care? Hmmm….
Apparently not.

Rainbow Granny Bunting
Well, I just haven’t had this much fun in a lonnnng time–and then to have the results turn out oh, soooo adorable!! Huge, unexpected plus.
What started out yesterday as an enormous pile of granny triangles—became magically transformed…
into the sweetest little bunting I’ve ever seen in my livin’ life—with just few more stitches to link them all together.
Last week, I searched the crochet universe until just the perfect triangle caught my eye over at Crochet With Raymond. It was love at first sight I tell you!
After a few days of crocheting these fun little Grannies I found the perfect way to link them together over at Carina’s Craftblog.
I love this thing so much I can hardly stop taking pictures of it. Like having a celebrity living in the building. Now all we need is to throw a party to celebrate this sweet little work of art.
And so I can hang it up and just stare at it for a few days.
Color School
It only took a week or so–sheesh–to pick out and gather the perfect colors for another project in the works. I’m not so good at figuring out all the modern color ways yet, but I have lots of help so I can’t stray too far from the straight and narrow. I’m still in the midst of choosing…
Oh, and by the way–I wouldn’t think of using that dreadful lavender or that incredibly wrong maroon…apparently highly un-stylish. The light blue is also out.
Who knew? This silly “old dog” is definitely learning some new tricks.
I’ll admit though, it’s kinda fun putting these pretty brights together and getting a feel for what works and what–ahem—doesn’t these days. This sweet little project is nearly finished and I’m soooo excited to show it to you, but not yet! Soon, soon.
Be brave–
I think, I hope you’ll love it. And maybe…just maybe, you’ll want one too. And THAT, my friends, can be arranged. Hee hee.
