Away They Go!

Ooooh I have sure loved having these guys around…

close enough that they can come by each day and play…

or rest…or just hang out with me and the kitties.

The time went by too quickly and then…

before we knew it…

it was time for them to leave.

Oooooh I’ll miss you Merrick…

and Linky…

and Skylie…

and Kortney…

and my sweet Dane.

Safe travels my loves.

I miss you already.

Housing Arrangements

While these cuties are in town, Kortney and the kids are staying with April’s family…

while Dane is taking care of the pups at my house. They all go back and forth between houses.

It’s been a really fun arrangement–

for me anyway. Haha.

Our Brave Boy

Our little Merrick went to the hospital last week to have a scoping procedure done. They’re trying to figure out why he has so many tummyaches.

He woke up after and did a little video to tell his daddy that he was ok and he was shaking from the anesthesia. That was very hard to watch.

Prayers please for our sweet, sweet boy.

We love you so much honey.

*Note* They didn’t find anything of concern from Merrick’s procedure–which is wonderful. But it doesn’t solve the mystery of the tummyaches. Darn it.

Road Trip- Day 3 Sunday

We woke up to a glorious, HUGE breakfast that Dane made while we were all still sleeping. This guy is awesome.

Next, sacrament meeting with the families.

And, no, I probably shouldn’t be taking pictures during the prayer. But tell me this little guy isn’t the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

I couldn’t help myself.

Dane taught the Gospel Doctrine class…

and even had the missionaries help.

He is such a good teacher…and SO handsome!

Afterwards the kids came back from their classes and we got ready to go home.

The ladies made us another lovely feast.

Merrick chose to postpone his “birthday” cake until we came to visit, so we gave him our presents too and had a mini birthday party for him.

Then we headed back to church for the whole reason that we came to Arkansas…

Merrick turned eight…

and today was his baptism day!!

So proud of this sweet boy and his family.

Josh did the tech stuff so the folks back home could tune in.

April and Lily…

were in charge of the music.

The Bishop spoke.

I spoke too, but there is no physical evidence. Thank goodness.

What a wonderful day. Congratulations Merrick!

I sure do love these people.
