Cosmo

Oooooh, our BYU team is doing GREAT this year!!!

So great, in fact, that I was totally inspired to make this cute little fellow right here.

In case you aren’t from around these parts…

and don’t recognize…

this dude…

his name is COSMO!!

Go BYU!!

Go to my Gracious Rain Shop on Esty to find this and other awesome stuff!

The Little Pirate Princess

Had a bit of drama with this little sweetheart, poor thing.

While running and chasing with her brothers she ran into the door jam and cracked herself in the eye–the brow bone to be exact. The swelling when down to her eyelid by morning and looked so spooky that…

they took to be checked at the hospital and…

even did an MRI to make sure she didn’t injure the bones around her eye.

Luckily, she didn’t.

Phew. It still looks scary–but it’s getting better every day.

Heal fast little one.

We love you.

The Canyon Birthday

Welcome to my official Birthday party…in the canyon…that I love almost as much as these awesome people.

But not quite.

In truth, as much as I love the canyon…

I actually love these people…

a billion…

times…

more.

Ok, a trillion.

Easy.

Now that we’ve established how much I love my sweet family,  I still have to say…

look at this beautiful scenery!!

Even with the sleepy girl, haha.

The canyon in the fall is the most beautiful place with the changing leaves…

the chilly river…

and the gorgeous mountains.

And all I have to do is sit here and love it all.

Which is amazingly easy.

Families are forever and I’m so grateful.

Road Trip- Day 3 Sunday

We woke up to a glorious, HUGE breakfast that Dane made while we were all still sleeping. This guy is awesome.

Next, sacrament meeting with the families.

And, no, I probably shouldn’t be taking pictures during the prayer. But tell me this little guys isn’t the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

I couldn’t help myself.

Dane taught the Gospel Doctrine class…

and even had the missionaries help.

He is such a good teacher…and SO handsome!

Afterwards the kids came back from their classes and we got ready to go home.

The ladies made us another lovely feast.

Merrick chose to postpone his “birthday” cake until we came to visit, so we gave him our presents too and had a mini birthday party for him.

Then we headed back to church for the whole reason that we came to Arkansas…

Merrick turned eight…

and today was his baptism day!!

So proud of this sweet boy and his family.

Josh did the tech stuff so the folks back home could tune in.

April and Lily…

were in charge of the music.

The Bishop spoke.

I spoke too, but there is no physical evidence. Thank goodness.

What a wonderful day. Congratulations Merrick!

I sure do love these people.
