Park City Road Trip…

…to see a couple of soccer games, with April, Hazel and Lily.

Always awesome fun!

We really do live in an incredibly beautiful place with all this lovely stuff right in our backyard.

We’re pretty lucky ducks, I’d say.

School Days

Summer went waaay too fast! Here we are with these cuties going off to the first day of school. Hazel is going to love 6th grade!!

K, T & L are ready for their new year too! They look adorable in their uniforms.

And of course, Beckham and Lily are too grown up for these school day pictures! Bahaha! They’re happy to be the free folks, for a few weeks anyway.

Oh, my goodness, I wish we could slow it all down. I want to just hold these people still long enough to get a good, hard, loving look at them before they flit off to their future.

Doesn’t seem so long ago that these school kids were not grandkids…but myyyy kids….who are, of course, all grown up now.

But I still remember clearly the magical smell of new notebooks and pencils, and erasers –from their childhood…

and from mine.

Still gives me goosebumps.

Housing Arrangements

While these cuties are in town, Kortney and the kids are staying with April’s family…

while Dane is taking care of the pups at my house. They all go back and forth between houses.

It’s been a really fun arrangement–

for me anyway. Haha.

My Computer Guy

Apparently, this is what happens when Miss Hazel is worried that since I’m living in this house alllllll by myself now, that I might…just possibly…be…

you know…

lonely.

She’s made me a cute little Scottish Farmer boyfriend named Angus.

I told her, “Oh, my gosh!!! I’m in love with him!! Yayayayayay! at last!”

and she said:

“Yay! Grammy I’m glad you like him. He has a kind personality and likes to make people smile.

love, Hazel”

So, it looks like I’m all set.

House– check.

Cat’s — check.

Scottish farmer boyfriend– double check.

Thanks Hazel.

Life is perfect now.
