A Chicken For Hazel

Little sweet Hazel asked me to make her a chicken…just because she loves them so, SO much.

And if you’ve been around here long enough, you know exactly what I said.

“Anything for YOU my dahling!” Heh, heh.

She turned out kinda cute…wouldn’t you say?

Wish granted my love.

Kitty Moving Day

Welllllll, it’s not what we’d planned but bossy little Dali decided that she wanted the babies out of the laundry room and into the family room…under my sewing machine. Good grief.

I’m certainly not a bit convinced that it’s a good idea–but Miss Hazel certainly didn’t mind.

While she was holding this little one, Dali jumped up on her lap and grabbed the kitty by the scruff of her neck and took her back over to the blanket. Nothing aggressive about this little mom cat! Haha.

This baby fascinates me. We’ve never had a totally black kitty before!

Oh, Dali, Dali. I’ll give this a couple of days and THEN we’re going to make other arrangements that don’t include new kitties on my carpet.  We’ll just see how you like that.

Bossy mom cat.

Sheesh.

Our Little Chicken Chick

Soooo what does one get for the chicken loving girl’s birthday? Well, you get a chicken leash and a fashionable chicken hat…

a chicken purse to carry your chicken in…

of course!!

We love you Hazel!!

Miss Hazel’s Birthday

Such a lovely thing–a birthday. Honestly, I love coming to anyone’s birthday because we always have fun just the same. We just love being together. There’s always great food, lovely conversation, throwing footballs, opening presents, eating cake and sooo much laughter.

See for yourself.

Hazel’s Unicorn

Our little Hazel loves Unicorns. No, no…I mean she REEEEALY loves unicorns. She wants to go to Scotland someday NOT because that’s where our family comes from–but because apparently, their national animal is a Unicorn. She’s convinced that in some mystical, magical forest over there–she will certainly find one…

and bring it home.

For real.

So when her birthday came around, there really was no other choice but to make her this pretty little baby…golden horn and all.

I mean, seriously–aren’t those curls just the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen?!

And oh, my goodness the tiny WINGS!! They made me giggle the whole time it was coming together.

Happy Birthday sweet Hazel. I hope you find your real live Unicorn someday.

In the meantime, here’s this one.

Grammy loves you,
