Grinch Party 2.0

In order to have an authentic Grinch Party–you’ll need…an actual Grinch.

They are slightly hard to find–but as you can see…

we got lucky.

Then, you’ll need an assorted bunch of Whos.

As you can see again…

we…

had…

an ample…

supply.

Heh, heh.

We played a trivia game…

then a “Dump it to Krumpit” game…

where you might get something lovely to eat…

or you might get something really rank…

No…really.

Some of us just hung out,

minding our own business–which was also fun!

It was a happy night in Whoville…

and everyone had a great time.

I can prove it.

Heh, heh.

Crocheted Turkey Place Cards

I’ve made a million different kinds of Thanksgiving place cards–pilgrim girls, pilgrim boys, turkeys and Indians. What I haven’t done is make more permanent ones…like this.

I started working on them in October and just went slow and steady–a little every couple of days.

Having a box of tiny turkey faces made me laugh every time I took the lid off. They’re so dang cuuuute!

I simply adore these guys! They even have their own expressions.

The final touch and these turkeys are happily, safely ready for the table.

Ha!

Gobble, gobble.

Look Quick!!

The kitties are all in the same place at the same time!

Honestly, between Dali chasing Lyla or Hobbes wrestling Dali or Lyla hiding from everyone and  EVERY thing, getting a picture like this is pretty rare.

It’s like that once in a decade photo of a lightening strike.

I should call Time magazine.

Seriously.

Harvest Puzzle Cheater

This lovely thing went together way faster that I expected it too.

Notice anything peculiar?

It’s one of those cheater puzzles with letters on the back. I tryyyyy to resist even looking but then, in the end, I give up and sort them into individual piles. When you’re working on about 150 pieces at a time…it does go together faster.

I guess I’ll have to remain a cheater.

A happy little puzzle cheater.

Heh, heh.

A Bit of Order

No, no. Don’t get the idea that I live in absolute squalor.  I promise you– I don’t. On a whim, I told Rhen that if he would bring up the holiday room stuff from the basement, that I would organize it– once and for all.

To my surprise and utter joy, he totally did it!!

I quickly got to work sorting everything into a color coded tub.  I ended up getting a billion more tubs in all the right colors.

Honestly, there is something so incredibly satisfying about…

a bit of beautiful order.

Wouldn’t you say?
