Finally, finally finished…
and ready to be taken over by fairy folk.
And I dare say that as soon as Lily sees it, there will be pixie dust everywhere.
It has room to lounge around..
or to play Statue Maker in the corner…
or to just sit back and laugh your head off.
Whatever floats your boat.
With button closures to hold it together…
and a cozy pocket to keep everyone calm and collected and safe. Kinda makes you want to be a fairy–doesn’t it?
Well, if you want to make a sweet little doll house, or barn or garage or fairy cottage–it’s really up to you—I found the instructions at UK Lass in US. Be sure to read through the directions a few times to get it all sorted out in your head. I made 3 at one time–so I’ll have to show you the other two…
as soon as I finish them.
So tell me…what do you think?

My cute son, Dane has decided to “donate” his 22nd birthday to Charity Water, an amazing non-profit organization determined to see that the population of the world has clean drinking water in our life time. Incredible.
He’s already made over 10% of his goal to raise $2200 by March 31, 2011 in the first two days, and we’d love to see the momentum keep building. As a mom–I can’t even comprehend what it would feel like to have to feed my children water that would make them sick. So to help him with this life changing project–I’m donating 50% of the proceeds from my greenWinkle shop until the end of March. Please check it out–for a good cause, if you’d like.

Thanks my friends–you’re the best.

It’s cold outside and you know perfectly well that a hot bowl of soup beats a pair of fleece mittens–any dang day. And this creamy, cheesy number will keep you toasty warm till Spring…well, nearly. You may just want to have it for breakfast too. Then you won’t need a coat all day long. Ha ha.
Yeah, it’s that good. Thanks, April!
Broccoli Cheese Soup
Ingredients:
2 cubes butter
14 cups water
12 chicken bouillon cubes–4Tbsps bouillon powder
1½ cups flour
16 oz cheese whiz or 1 lb velveeta (I put in twice this)
4 cups fresh broccoli chopped
1 Tbsp onion flakes
salt to taste
Directions:
Boil water and bouillon. Cut broccoli in to small pieces, add to water. When broccoli is nearly done, melt butter in pan, stir in flour, then add hot soup stock to dilute (slowly with a wire whisk to keep smooth, or use blender). Add to soup. Stir until thickened. Remove from heat, add cheese. Stir until melted and smooth. Garnish with shredded cheddar–because it needs MORE cheese. HA!
Try this lovliness with tortilla chips, French bread or pretzels. It’s amazing.
