Perfectly Perfect Snickerdoodles |
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2tsp. vanilla
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt, and set aside.
- Cream butter and brown sugar and 1 cup of white sugar on medium speed until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Slowly add flour mixture and beat on low just until mixed.
- Mix ¼ cup sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll dough into 1 inch balls and then in the cinnamon sugar.
- Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool slightly before moving to cooling rack.
