Everybody needs there hair combed–don’t you think? Sweet baby Hazie is happy to help.
With the first hefty bit of snowfall that we’ve had–
the girls had to think about it for a minute before venturing out.
But it didn’t take long before they realized that it was pretty-much just plain old ground…
It helped to put their food bowl out there with a few apple cores–so they’d have a common goal…so to speak.
Soon enough, they were old pros at this snow business and took off in every direction.
Most likely won’t find any worms today Miss Ruby.
She doesn’t seem to mind.
When I checked out at the grocery store the cashier said, “Oooooh, what are you going to do with the sugar pumpkin?”
I said, “Huh?”
She said, “Are you going to make a pie?”
I said, “Ahhhh, no. I’m buying it for some friends.”
She said, “Really?”
I said, “Yep. We’re having a big party.”
She said, “Well one won’t be enough.”
I said, “You’re probably right.”
Giggled all the way home.
Our sweet Dane and Kortney have been away…
in far, far off China…
for nearly a year now.
They’ve been working in the preschool in Wuhan…
teaching English to the little ones there.
This week, they returned to America–at last, at LAST! They are still back east for a while but we will see them soon. Not soon enough for me, of course, but sincerely, I’m just glad to have them back on closer soil. China is just tooooo far away for this mama’s liking.
Welcome back my darlings!
Now, come home.
